Victory Cruise Lines are best for
Mature travellers who are looking for new experiences in North America and enjoy the benefits of small-ship cruising.
Atmosphere & Experience onboard
Days are filled with enriching onboard lectures about local history and culture and immersive shore excursions, with access to major cultural and international metropolitan areas. In the evenings, there is a noticeably social atmosphere on board with passengers enjoying engaging entertainment and the pre-dinner cocktail hour or relaxing with drinks in Victory’s I or II cosy, English-style tavern.
The three internationally themed high teas, British, Viennese and Maharaja, are also very popular on at-sea days. Resort casual is recommended both on the ship and ashore. Except from the suites, there are no private balconies, only deck space shared with passers-by, so plan on spending most of your onboard time in the lounge, the bar or on the open-air top deck.
Inclusions
Dining including traditional, specialty or casual options, and most drinks including complimentary coffee, bottled water, soft drinks, house wines, select beer and non-premium alcohol are free all day. At the pre-dinner cocktail party additional options might be available without charge.
One complimentary feature shore excursion is offered in every port be it a museum, historic hotel, local lunch, wine tasting or a particularly beautiful scenery. Onboard enrichment, evening entertainment, WiFi in public areas and gratuities are all complimentary. Tips for coach tour guides and drivers, and one pre-cruise hotel night with transfer to the ship are also included. Ship gratuities are built in for Australian travellers. Additional charges apply for optional excursions, laundry service, retail shop purchases, massages, beauty and hair treatments.
In Alaska, explore with and learn from an unequalled team of onboard marine biologists, naturalists, scientists and expedition guides. Ocean Victory will hold twenty zodiacs and dozens of kayaks to transport you deep into the true Alaskan wilderness.

Food & Dining with Victory Cruise Lines
All meals focus on regionally inspired cuisine and are masterfully crafted by Victory’s culinary teams ranging from delicate, hand-crafted desserts and pastries, to elegant entrees full of bold flavours. Victory accommodate any special dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan.
Meals are served in the Coastal Dining Room and the more casual, buffet-only The Grill. Dishes are mostly from American cuisine, sometimes with fresh local fish purchases ashore, and there is an open seating policy with no need for reservations. The dinner menu offers two appetizers, two soups, two salads, four mains – meat, fish, pasta and vegetarian – and desserts or cheese plate.
The service, quality and presentation are first-rate, and complimentary house wine flows freely at lunch and dinner, or you may order a beer or bring a cocktail from the bar, all at no charge.
Victory Cruise Lines Ships
Victory I (built 2019) and its almost identical sister ship Victory II (built 2018) both carry 202 passengers and 84 crew members, equalling a passenger to crew ratio of 2.4:1. Their newest ship Ocean Victory can carry a maximum of 200 passengers, allowing the cruise line to expand beyond their current coastal itineraries into much more rugged terrain, starting with Alaska in summer 2021.
